Obituary of Anna Marie Betters

Anna Marie Betters, 78, of Wilmington, NY, passed away October 20th at Elderwood of Uihlein at Lake Placid. Anna Marie was born November 5th 1946 in Keene Valley New York the daughter of Milton and Ellouise H. (Hagene) Betters. She was raised and lived in Wilmington, New York. Anna graduated from Lake Placid High School, Class of 1965. She worked at Santa's workshop in Wilmington, NY for more than 30 years. Her second career was working at Whiteface Mountain Ski Center selling tickets and working in the main office. Her third career was a receptionist at the healthcare offices in Keene and Lake Placid New York. Mom's favorite pastime was to visit family and friends and help them out if she could. She loved to create flower gardens and Christmas arrangements. She also loved to go for car rides thrifting and yard sales. Anna Marie is survived by her daughter Michelle Covey and her son-in-law Phil Covey; her grandchildren, Kane and Sarah Covey; her brother and sister-in-law Frederick and Deborah Betters; her nieces, Jennifer betters, Daniel Almanza, Samantha and Trevor Ano great nephews Ethan and Jacob Ano. Nephews Timothy Saltmarsh, David Saltmarsh great nephew Max Saltmarsh, and several cousins. Anna Marie was pre deceased by her parents Milton and Ellouise H. Betters, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Gary Saltmarsh. Mom is dearly loved and will be missed.
