Jerry was my neighbor on Hillcrest Ave., he was one of the first people we met upon moving to LP. He treated me like a little sister, he had a great personality, always quick with the wit, and always smiling! I will really miss him, he had my back a few times and I always looked forward to a chance encounter with Jerry while visiting LP. Can’t believe he is gone, too young! Godspeed old friend

Jerry will be missed forever. During the preparation for the 1980 Winter Olympics, Jerry, Mike Rule, and I lived in a house behind what was then known as the Corner Store. We had Coors beer shipped in from California and many pre-Olympic parties at our house. We had motorcycle adventures that a few times left us in snowbanks at 4:00 in the morning. I've been out of town since 1990 when I got married and moved to Boston. Jerry and I communicated two or three times a week and laughed and joked about so many things. Jerry was always upbeat and loads of fun. We always argued about who was Jerry 1 and who was Jerry 2. I have an empty place in my life now.
Jerry, you and Mike save a place for me.

I enjoyed being around Jerry at work. I never knew if he was being serious or picking. A great guy and a huge loss to the community. I am so very sorry, Karen. Love you.
