Obituary of Normand A. Jolicoeur

Normand A. Jolicoeur, 85, of Clark Road in Champlain passed away on July 8, 2023 at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in Plattsburgh, NY. He was born in Southbridge, Massachusetts on August 11, 1937, the son of the late Lionel and Rita Jolicoeur. Norm was a jack of all trades. He drove truck, was a welder and fabricator, did electrical work, carpentry, and kept all our vehicles out of the garage. He worked for the Town of Champlain highway department and drove plow trucks for years. After retirement he also worked for H&M Steel. He was a generous man, always willing to help someone and take care of things. Norm loved hunting & fishing, camping, visiting with people, going to the races (he used to warm up the race cars back in the day) and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Brenda, Children; Kenna & Lee Dumas, William & Debbie Jolicoeur and Mike & Mandy Jolicoeur, Grandchildren; Kayla Jolicoeur, Christopher Elliott, Grace Dumas, Sadie Dumas, Matthew Jolicoeur, Hope Jolicoeur, Kaitlyn & Jesse Thomas, and Matthew & Rachael Jolicoeur, Greatgrandchildren; Maya Jolicoeur, Layla & Ariana Ashe, Brothers; David Jolicoeur and Jerry Jolicoeur, Sisters; Juliette Jolicoeur, Madeleine Jones, and Mary Jolicoeur Darrach. Norm was predeceased by his parents Rita and Lionel and his 3 brothers Roger Jolicoeur, Francis Jolicoeur and Leo Jolicoeur Calling hours will be August 11, 2023 at M. B. Clark Funeral Home in Champlain from 5PM - 7PM. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Coopersville August 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM Reception to follow.
